Administrative Assistant
We're a growing insurance company that has been serving Utah County for 14 years. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with an active health insurance license to join our team. This role supports our agents by assisting with client applications, processing payments, and providing excellent client service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting agents by ensuring health insurance applications are completed and processed with accuracy and efficiency. This includes handling payment transactions, maintaining precise records, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. As a primary point of contact, the assistant provides timely and professional support for client inquiries, enhancing client satisfaction. Additionally, they organize and maintain client files, keeping all documentation up-to-date and compliant. Beyond these tasks, the assistant helps facilitate smooth day-to-day operations through general administrative duties and effective office organization, contributing to the agency’s overall success.
Our ideal candidate is a licensed health insurance professional who brings a strong foundation in organizational skills and attention to detail. An active health insurance license is required, and prior experience in health insurance or a related field is highly valued. This individual excels at multitasking and thrives in fast-paced environments, adeptly prioritizing tasks to keep the office running smoothly. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as this role involves direct client interactions and collaboration with team members. Reception, secretarial or administrative assisting experience preferred, but not necessary. We offer competitive pay, no weekends or holidays, and the opportunity for advancement. Hours are flexible (30-40 hours per week) and benefits are available after 90 days. Work duties will take place between our Payson and Provo locations and you must be able to travel to both offices.
