Do you have health insurance through Select Health? Make sure you are taking advantage of their Gym Membership and Physical Activity Rewards Programs!

In Utah, eligible members can earn up to $240 per person, per year; or $580 per family, per year! Rewards accumulate January through December, resetting in January of each new calendar year.

To be eligible for the rewards programs in Utah, you must be on an Individual and Family plan, or a Small Employer plan, and be 18 years old. To access the Rewards program, you will need to register to your own selecthealth.org account.

Rewards Program 1: SelectHealth Gym Membership Reward

Join any gym of your choice or find lower rates through your SelectHealth account! On the Membership Rewards page of your account, select “Find Discounts on Gyms and Fitness Clubs in the Virgin Pulse network” for a list of gyms and fitness discounts.

To claim reward points for your gym membership, log to the Member Checklist page on your account and choose “Progress Tracking & Rewards.” Choose “Gym Membership” and complete the Gym Attestation form. Next, click on Redeem Rewards and choose from over 100 gift card options!

Rewards Program 2: SelectHealth Physical Activity Reward

Track your steps for this reward! Complete 20 days or more of 7,000 steps or the equivalent in a non-stepping exercise each month to get the 7k Steps for 20 Days Badge.

You will need both a SelectHealth account and Virgin Pulse account to track your progress. On the Virgin Pulse website or app, track your activity in the Stats area or convert your choice of exercise to steps using the Add a Workout feature. Redeem reward points in your SelectHealth account, from your Member Checklist. Choose “Progress Tracking & Rewards” then select “Redeem Rewards” to choose from over 100 gift card options.
