SPAM Phone calls about updating your health insurance plan

Somebunny told us that there is an old scam making it's way around the block again. Utah Avenue Insurance want to make sure you are aware of this scam so you can avoid giving out your personal information to the wrong people.

Some of our clients have received phone calls from an 844-***-**** number. They are claiming they are from your insurance company or from the Marketplace. They are asking to verify your log in information so they can update missing information on your health insurance application. First, the Marketplace will never ask for your log in information. Secondly, they rarely, if ever, call you. The Marketplace will usually mail out letters asking for the information that they need.

If you get a call like this, please hang up and call us, your friendly local agent. We can verify your health insurance application is up to date and help you submit documents they need.
